Agrolux Systems Increases Critical Reflector Performance with 8" Air Cooling.
September 5, 2004 -- Agrolux Systems, a leader in horticultural lighting, today announced the release of their latest innovative product the "V1" Horticultural Hood. Engineered for the ground up, this system provides maximum performance for all horticultural applications. The "V1" quickly and easily installs enabling even the novice user a simple yet high performance solution.
The "V1" Horticultural Hood features a highly reflective insert that increases reflector performance. Though innovative design, the Agrolux Systems hood is arguably the most reflective horticultural hood on the market. Key design features enable easy deployment and maximum reflector performance.
The "V1" reflector is optically engineered to produce an even distribution of light on the canopy using the latest highly reflective materials. Through thermodynamic studies, the reflector was designed to mate with 8" ducting to minimize heat build up in the environment along with preventing premature end of lamp life due to excessive heat.
