Through U.S. Soil's Continuing Education Guest Speaker Program the Amish are able to learn from world expert Joel Salatin. Mr. Salatin along with U.S. Soil representatives will be attending a workshop in Bloomfield, Iowa educating the Amish on the importance organic farming and using Planters II Foundation Minerals.
Bloomfield, Iowa-- October 30, 2006 -- Education is important in helping farmers go from traditional chemical practices to nature friendly organic practices. U.S. Soil, Inc. proudly supports communities around the country, and through their Continuing Education Guest Speaker Program, they are sponsoring Joel Salatin to hold a day of workshops for the Amish community near Bloomfield, Iowa on November 28th. In "Farming for Profit, Pleasure and Production", Mr. Salatin will work with the community, educating them on the importance of pastured livestock, profitable natural farming programs and the importance of using Planters II Foundation Minerals as the basis of a cropping program.
Foundation Minerals are essential in building an economical cropping program. U.S. Soil encourages farmers to visit with them and Mr. Salatin to understand the differences between mineral supplements. Not all minerals are bioactive or plant available. However, few companies explain this difference. In order to increase productivity, farmers have to change the way they farm. Proper pasturing, economical marketing and the use of Foundation Minerals are salient for production and profitability.
The workshop is limited to 400 individuals with preference given to the local Amish community. To attend, leave a voice mail for Robert D. Yoder at (641) 664-2060. U.S. Soil representatives will attend the conference to answer any additional questions along with Mr. Salatin. |
