The Bubble Buddy is a small compact hydroponics system that takes up approximately one square foot of space. The system is light proof to prevent algae from growing in the reservoir and possibly cause root disease. Bubble Buddy hydroponics kit is highly flexible and can be custom built to house 2-6 units in a single system.

This system is a combination of hydroponics and aeroponics which offer explosive root development. Plants with a healthy, vigorously growing root system grow faster and yield higher.

The Bubble Buddy is easily cleaned and disassembles quickly for easy storage. The manufacturer offers a pump for the Bubble Buddy called the "Heat Pump" and is recommended for systems with four or more units for efficient operation. The system uses approximately four cups of Hydroton, a growing medium made of natural clay. Hydroton saves money on growing medium because it can be reused in growing future crops.
